A normal scroll "skips" when you spin it, i.e. it will skip from line to line, instead of more granular/smooth scrolling (the way using a touchpad would scoll). battery is decent but more is always welcomeĮDIT: there is another thing I'd like to see improved - the free/infinite scroll mode (where it has no resistance even when you scroll slowly) - is still incremental, i.e. the switch for 3 devices is neat, maybe it should be a slider instead of a button for the infinity scroll operation) are not available in linux (i.e. the mouse works fine under linux but some of the configuration (e.g. infinity scroll is great (edit: in fact, I'm using it in infinity mode most of the time) but the little noise/vibration it makes when it automatically switches from infinity to normal is annoying (I think it's the movement of the little magnets inside) Maybe even infinity mode for the horizontal scroll? the horizontal scroll is kind of limited by the 2 edges around it (they are probably there to prevent accidental scrolls but I'd like some more mobility/freedom to make the side scroll more useful). i find the thumb button hard to press/hit even though I've been using the mouse for about a year now which is a shame because it can be very useful I'm using the MX 3 and it's good but can be improved. No idea if it's coming soon but I've been looking forward to MX 4 as well.
